Medical 3D realism areola tattooing is a specialist service primarily for people who have undergone breast cancer surgery, including mastectomy and breast reconstruction. It recreates the appearance of the nipple and areola using carefully chosen pigments, fine detail and shading to create a realistic, three-dimensional illusion on the skin. The tattoo creates the appearance of depth rather than a physically raised nipple.
Treatment is available for one breast (unilateral) or both breasts (bilateral). Where a natural areola remains, colour, size and placement can be planned with this in mind. For bilateral treatment, both areolas are designed together to suit your preferences and your reconstructed breasts.
Areola tattooing can also support gender affirmation, including recreating or refining the appearance of areolas following chest surgery.

Suitability and timing depend on healing and any ongoing treatment, with guidance from your treating clinical team where appropriate. Price & booking deposit
From £325 is the guide price. Agree your full treatment plan, what is included and the final price before paying a 20% booking deposit. The remaining balance is payable on the day.
